Our laboratory’s primary focus is on paternity testing and advanced biological trace analysis. The paternity tests we perform can be used for legal or private purposes. The laboratory fulfills individual requests nationwide and works closely with courts, the police, and the prosecutor’s office.

Our laboratory operates in accordance with international standards
The quality of our tests is our top priority, which is why we participate annually in quality tests conducted by the German Association of Institutes for Forensic Science and Medicine (German DNA Profiling). From 2012 to 2023, our laboratory was awarded the GEDNAP quality certificate every year. In 2024, we participated in CTS (Collaborative Testing Services) proficiency testing, which resulted in a positive outcome. Additionally, our accreditation by the Polish Centre for Accreditation under the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard is a key strength. The requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard apply to testing laboratories and are intended to officially confirm the high competence of laboratory staff and the quality of the tests conducted.Professionalism
Testing in an accredited laboratory
The laboratory has been providing paternity testing services since 2007.
Over the years, we have conducted as many as 14,000 genetic analyses for private clients and institutions such as courts, the prosecutor’s office, and the police. The tests we perform are commissioned and accepted by the Polish judicial system, which attests to their high quality and professionalism. Additionally, the accuracy of genetic analyses performed at the GenMed Laboratory is confirmed by: an accreditation certificate for compliance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard.

At the client’s request, biological samples for testing can be collected at one of our partner facilities located throughout the country.
We send test results to your home or a post office via mail, by email, or over the phone, depending on your preferred method.
We handle shipments discreetly; upon request, we can deliver a DNA sample collection kit to any address or to any post office (poste restante). We provide test results according to your preference: anonymously by mail, via email, and/or by phone using a pre-arranged password.
Discretion
We ensure discretion at every stage of the testing process
In addition to standard shipping of materials, we also offer the option of confidential delivery of results—without the laboratory’s stamp on the envelope—or a poste restante shipment for pickup at any post office of your choice, ensuring complete discretion.
Clients who are pressed for time may also choose to have test results communicated by phone or via email. Results can also be picked up at our office in Poznań. To ensure the confidentiality of our clients’ data, all collected personal information is used solely for the purpose of conducting the requested tests. Each of our clients has the right to review the full documentation regarding their case, and thanks to our procedures, you can be certain that the results will be sent only to you. Any documentation related to the tests will be released exclusively to the person who ordered the test.
